COBRA unveiled at Underwater Intervention!
While exhibiting at Underwater Intervention in January, Divex decided to give the show a Scottish feel and conducted a whisky tasting at their booth!
Armed with a wee dram, visitors to the stand were able to take the opportunity to view our new rebreather - COBRA. This was the first time COBRA had been on display and allowed visitors the chance to have a look at the set and have any questions or queries answered.
Baby Shower!
Our Senior Receptionist will soon hear the pitter patter of tiny feet! Natalie Rennie is to become a mum in December and this will be the first baby for her and husband Mike.
Divex models strike a pose!
When the Press & Journal were looking for a striking photograph to go along with their article on the subsea industry in Westhill - they called Divex! Bob Thomson, Senior Technician, and Bill Elrick, Defence Manager - were more than happy to get their glad rags on and pose for some pictures. These glad rags included an old standard dress diver suit, complete with brass diving helmet and shoes and the Divex SLS system.
Happy birthday Graeme!
We love an excuse for cake here at Divex and Graeme Clark's birthday was the perfect opportunity for some!
Trip onboard the Constructor
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to work onboard a DSV? Well I have a better understanding now after yesterday’s trip to the SMIT Subsea vessel the Constructor.
Myself and Graeme Johnston (Senior Sales & Commercial Co-ordinator) were lucky enough to get onboard the vessel while it spent some time at Aberdeen Harbour. Only my second trip onboard a DSV (I don’t get out much!) and my first time viewing a dive system and it was fantastic!
New Divex website launched!
